So this weekend I started watching "This American Life" Season 1. Got to Episode 4 titled "The Camera Man" it spoke about a young man whose step dad was Frank Garcia from the band "OXO" they had one Top 40s Hit named "Whirly Girl".

So the thing with "This American Life" for me is that sometimes it hits closer to home than expecting. This show brought out a lot of past memories of growing up and certain things that happened and also made me thankful for things that didn't happen. I really finished the episode thinking "Wow...just wow" I'm very thankful for where I am in life right now. Even when around me people are acting crazy and stupid stuff is happening I know that I can look to my "True North", the nickname that I gave Renee to find solitude and calmness. If you haven't listened to or watched "This American Life" I highly recommend it. Also if you have Netflix you can watch it direct off their site. It's really really awesome. If you watch movies and spend about 10 bucks at blockbuster a month you should try out Netflix it's really awesome and I've been enjoying it. Even though our Bluray player is in the shop we can still watch some movies we want to see online.
